A Graduation Story

A heartwarming and uplifting story of a young woman (Ashley Saville) on her high school graduation day. Please watch and let me know what you think.

2nd Video Partnered

So this week I got my second video partnered with youtube. My latest upload 5 Crew Dynasty vs. Toxsick & Stelf was enlisted in the partner program, after only 3 days of being live online. This is amazing news because the more individual videos I have partnered with youtbe, the higher my odds of getting a complete partnership with them in the future.

The next bit of good news is that I should have another video going up next week which is a freestyle microphone pass between Kane Mayfield and GreyMatter, which was recorded at the same event as the dance...Baltiwar 2011.

Finally I am about $600 away from getting my new lenses and lens adapter but at the rate in which I am saving I will not be able to get anything until after summer...which is where you guys come in. If you want to donate anything please go to the secure paypal page to do so or buy some merch from the store. All proceeds go to future projects so I am not making some kind of money from this, this is only to support my films.

5 Crew Dynasty vs. Toxsick & Stelf

Awesome B Boy battle from Baltiwar 2011! This is the final round featuring 5 Crew Dynasty vs. Toxsick and Stelf. Really was a close call but you can see for yourself who deserves to win.

Kane Mayfield and The Perfect Fifth

A truly awesome performance of the song "Wreck," by Kane Mayfield; live at Ottobar! He brings so much amazing energy to each song and individual performance but this one has to be one of my favorites, from the awesome audience involvement to the great live vocals.

New Details

So over here at To Tony Productions we are about $700 short of our goal to get a lens adapter and new Canon L lenses (for now at least just one). Over the next month hopefully we will be able to have enough to get the equipment. At this point I honestly thought we would have enough but since we decided to go with The Redrock Micro M3 adapter that has changed.

It has been a busy month of filming about 4 concerts in one month including 2 Kane Mayfield shows, Unlisted After Death show, and Baltiwar!

In other news I personally have been developing a really cool screenplay in my screenwriting class that I may turn into a whole script, I think it has enough intrique in it to capture the attention of studio executives but hopefully it will clear the whole budget issue (it is definetely a big budget picture to say the least). All about machine and human interactions in an alternative future.

Finally I am here to say again that if you can please donate to To Tony Productions we appreciate the support and every little bit counts.

Thank you,
Daniel Hess

The Young Fisherman

The Young Fisherman is a story of a young man who has found that fishing has helped him in several great ways in a bad economy. Check it out and hopefully be inspired by this small documentary.

Exciting News

To Tony Productions has gone from basically nothing going on to a whole bunch of new stuff. This past week we recorded a cool microshow featuring Kane Mayfield of Mania Music Group at Mobtown Studios. After that on Saturday we were up at The Baltimore Convention Center covering Baltiwar and local artist DJ Blakmajik who played an amazing set.

Tonight around Midnight a new edit of True Docs: Fishing a documentary I did last summer is going up on youtube. I will of course post a link up on this page as well as facebook.

This upcoming weekend we will be recording a show for the band Unlisted After Death at Club Orpheus on Saturday. The show starts at 9 and goes to around 11:30. Also I have another show with Kane Mayfield this time at the Ottobar, which should be awesome. Kane has a lot of talent and does not disappoint with his performances.

Also I extend the offer I have had floating around on craigslist to record live concerts. We can get at least two angles filmed with high end professional HD equipment. It is a $100 to record the show and another $200 to edit/make copies/put footage online. Any local bands interested give me a call at 443-683-1185.

Check out the youtube!

Heroin Addiction

A re edit of a documentary on heroin addiction I did last summer. My cousin gave a great, honest, and candid interview last summer. I added new titles, music, and cuts to this version. I hope you can enjoy and learn something from this documentary.

Please Donate

If you notice to the in the right column there is now a way to donate money to To Tony Productions over the safe and secure hosting of paypal. Everyone here at To Tony works hard every day and is committed to the constant pursuit of great film. As of late we have had to take a little while off to gather the necessary tools to make even higher quality film. The first thing we are saving up for is an SG-Blade which is a lens converter that allows us to attach 35mm lenses to our camera allowing for a film like look. The next item on our list is both a Canon Wide Angle and Macro lenses to attach to the SG-Blade allowing for a variety of cool shoots. The final item on our list a heavy duty Davis and Sanford tripod to put our camera with all the extras on. After all that my father is helping me to build both a camera dolly and a camera crane which will again allow for a wide variety of shots.

All in all a rough total brings us to $4,319 and that is without the cost of supplies to make the dolly and crane. We all have been saving and saving as much as we can but any donation from you, the fans will greatly help us. Even if you can only give $1 that is $1 more to our goal. Please help us so that we can continue making great content for all of you.

Thank you all so much for the love and support,
Daniel Hess

First Viral Video

So yesterday night I received an email from youtube asking me to share revenue on the last video I posted up which was Gas Guzzlers Part 2. After researching all of what that meant I found out that while I may not be partnered with them, I still will be able to get money from this video. I feel as though I have completely broke the rules when it comes to viral video though, because most of the time you see a quick little five second thing of someone getting hurt, but this is a fifteen minute monster, that somehow sky rocketed in views so much that it grabbed the attention of youtube. I have to say this is amazing news and I have no one to thank than all of you guys who follow my work and make it what it is!

Thanks so much guys!

German Shepherd Eats Snow

My German Shepherd Lexi eating snow on the first winter happening here in Maryland. As you can tell in the video she really enjoys the snow.

Lunar Eclipse

A video of the Lunar Eclipse from earlier in the week. Nothing really crazy, just wanted to see one. It is very beautiful, so much so that even this camera really can't do it justice.
