We sat blind that night,
The past behind us,
But nothing in front of us,
We had no direction,
Our parents didn't care,
They moved on without us,
We thought it wasn't fair,
But that lack of knowledge,
Made the adventure that much more fun,
And in the end we all found the path that lead to happiness,
The worst thing we could do was sit down and stare,
After we stopped looking and just followed our hearts,
Things were much better,
I think I owe the ones who left me behind an apology,
For they were leading me the entire time.
