Please Donate

If you notice to the in the right column there is now a way to donate money to To Tony Productions over the safe and secure hosting of paypal. Everyone here at To Tony works hard every day and is committed to the constant pursuit of great film. As of late we have had to take a little while off to gather the necessary tools to make even higher quality film. The first thing we are saving up for is an SG-Blade which is a lens converter that allows us to attach 35mm lenses to our camera allowing for a film like look. The next item on our list is both a Canon Wide Angle and Macro lenses to attach to the SG-Blade allowing for a variety of cool shoots. The final item on our list a heavy duty Davis and Sanford tripod to put our camera with all the extras on. After all that my father is helping me to build both a camera dolly and a camera crane which will again allow for a wide variety of shots.

All in all a rough total brings us to $4,319 and that is without the cost of supplies to make the dolly and crane. We all have been saving and saving as much as we can but any donation from you, the fans will greatly help us. Even if you can only give $1 that is $1 more to our goal. Please help us so that we can continue making great content for all of you.

Thank you all so much for the love and support,
Daniel Hess

First Viral Video

So yesterday night I received an email from youtube asking me to share revenue on the last video I posted up which was Gas Guzzlers Part 2. After researching all of what that meant I found out that while I may not be partnered with them, I still will be able to get money from this video. I feel as though I have completely broke the rules when it comes to viral video though, because most of the time you see a quick little five second thing of someone getting hurt, but this is a fifteen minute monster, that somehow sky rocketed in views so much that it grabbed the attention of youtube. I have to say this is amazing news and I have no one to thank than all of you guys who follow my work and make it what it is!

Thanks so much guys!

Lunar Eclipse

A video of the Lunar Eclipse from earlier in the week. Nothing really crazy, just wanted to see one. It is very beautiful, so much so that even this camera really can't do it justice.

Premiere Night

Tonight is the big premiere of Gas Guzzlers. After three months of filming and two months of editing I have my event! It is being held at Towson University in Van Bokkelen Hall room 204 from 7 to 9pm. Before Gas Guzzlers I will be showing a collection of short films and documentaries I have done all with my newest HD camcorder. Short films include Breakdown and a collection of my favorite True Docs episodes from this summer. That will be going on from about 7 to 8. At a little after 8 that is when I will be showing Gas Guzzlers!

It has been a journey to say the least getting to this point. Through a rough semester and a few surprise hurdles. I will not dwell on those obstacles now because I have overcome all of my obstacles and now I get to see my film and short films on a giant theater sized screen. It is something that many student filmmakers do not get to see, so I will enjoy it!

Everyone wish me luck for a smooth night and I hope to see you all there,
Dan H.

New Shirt Designs

6764764-17313824
It has been a while since anything has been updated with the merch site for To Tony Productions but today I decided to add a few holiday themed shirts and hoodies to the site. I guess it was the big Thanksgiving dinner and all the talk of Christmas that put me in the mood. Click on the link above to get to the merch site.

Also currently I have been working on my next short film Breakdown which will premiere along with Gas Guzzlers on December 10th at 7pm. I would say I am about 50% done with the shooting, after that I am going to be trying to change around my editing style to come out with a product unlike anything I have done to date.

I am always trying to reinvent myself and hopefully the risk I am taking with this short will pay off.

Big News

Hey everyone! I know it has been a little while since the last post but I have been busy, busy, busy with school and work. However I have great news about GAS GUZZLERS!

At Towson University on December 10th I will have a premiere of my film Gas Guzzlers in Van Bokkelen room 204. For those not familiar with this room it is Towson's own theater, so I will be premiering the film on the giant HD projector screen. I want everyone to come out to the event and you can find more information on the event page on facebook.

Also I have a new teaser trailer for my upcoming short film entitled Breakdown, which is proving to be my most visually stunning work yet!

Slowwwwwwwww...

Things here at To Tony Productions have been painfully slow to say the least. With school at the craziest point it has been at I have been completely consumed. I have to make a short film for school and this wednesday should be the start of the film. It is going to be a short centered around one character, with probably a maximum of two characters in the whole film. I am expecting the film to be about 15 minutes long, or shorter.

Gas Guzzlers is done and I am hoping to get a theater screening of this film at my school at Towson U. Tomorrow I am meeting with the head of the department about renting out the school's mini theater for a one night showing of the film. Hopefully everything will work out...

Really not too much else going on right now, I am just trying to get life situated and I am saving up to get an SG - Blade lens adapter for my camera. Once I get that, my films will look even more stunning and professional.

Keep up the support and Thank you all,
Dan H.
